The Deliverable Is the Relationship
A survey firm meets its next client on a Monday morning it never sees: the moment an engineer opens the deliverable. If the survey drops into their design software with its structure intact -- points, codes, linework, surfaces -- the firm just became the one they call next time. If a tech spends Tuesday re-digitizing a flattened drawing, the firm became the one they route around. Repeat commercial work is not won in proposals. It is won at the handoff.
How Do You Prove the Survey Is Right?
Every survey you deliver is a legal instrument someone may lean on for decades -- and sooner or later, someone asks the uncomfortable question: how do you know it's right? Most firms answer with reputation. The ones that answer with evidence -- a defensible, automated QC record attached to the deliverable -- are playing a different game. Here is what that record has to check, why 'we're careful' has stopped being an answer, and how proof becomes a deliverable instead of a favor you do under pressure.
